FAQS :

In what country was this thermometer made?

The answer is Mexico.

Which Braun inner ear thermometer model is the most precise and user-friendly for seniors? models that confuse. tips?

The Braun ThermoScan 6 has excellent usability.

How can we buy more tip covers?

It already had several tip coverings, but you may get more since I did, and they work well.

Can a newborn use this?

For a newborn, I would suggest a rectal thermometer. That will give the most accurate readings.

Can the temperature of a dog or cat be checked with this?

Since your dog's ear canal is likely larger than a human's, I believe it would work, but if the reading was lower after a few tries, I would suggest folding the hairless part of the hip area. The normal rectal temperature is preferable to everything. LOL I just tested it twice and received a reading of 99.9°, when my dog usually has a temperature of 101°. However, despite the fact that it only takes a few seconds, my dog won't remain still. She is still a pup.

I bought this one, but each year's reading is different—one is 97, the other is 99.9—why? Which one should I choose, then?

It also happens to me. I learned there might be various causes: The previous time that occurred to me, my daughter had an ear infection in the ear with the higher reading, along with other insertions in the ear, earwax, and other things. The reading between the two ears was just +/-.2 after her ear infection was treated.

Do you need to see a reading to posture appropriately, or can you take one on your own?

The purpose of this thermometer's tip is to enable self-reading. After a reading, it will show the temperature taken on the screen for you to read, or you may utilize the memory feature to access the previous measurement. Does this tympanic thermometer model suit the PC 200 lens covers?
