    FAQS :

Hello, the description says "1.18 gallons water tank" but then says "0.66 gallons / 2.5 l water tank" further down, how large is the actual tank?

    2.5 L is the answer.

Will it dehumidify a 1,500-square-foot basement?

We have a 1100 square foot basement that works perfectly! Depending on whether it's humid or not, I empty it 1-2 times every day. Summer at least twice a day, winter only once.

Is it necessary to alter the filter? Is it wahable or not?

Answer: It is machine washable. The dehumidifier includes a washable filter.

Is this product Energy Star compliant?

    Answer: No, it does not.

Why are all of the ostensible reviews written in stiff and illegible English? Is it possible that these are fake reviews? Without a doubt.

My 70-point unit perished in less than a year. When I went to get warranty coverage, they said they would only "consider" replacing it provided I published a nice review. The problem wasn't awkward English (I sympathise with all non-native speakers), but a bad product and an unwillingness to honour their written warranty. Kesnos should be avoided.

What is the degree of noise? Are you better or worse than others?

Answer: It is not silent. I have it on in my bathroom right now, and I can hear it from the room next to it - my office. I'd go insane if this was right next to my bed while I tried to sleep.

Can I use this Kesnos dehumidifier when I'm not home?

Answer: If you leave it running while you are not home, it will heat your home and boost the temperature by roughly 30 degrees.

How do I connect the hose? The instructions is confusing. I pushed it into the drain outlet, but water instead gathers in the bucket, and the hose is dry.

The answer is straightforward. A rubber plug is located directly above the tank. Pull on that plug to gain access to the drain. This will allow access to a male plastic fitting, which the plastic hose will push over. Twisting the hose slightly helps. If you remove the tank, you can see the fitting.
