Answer: The Arris S33 is a DOCIS 3.1 capable device 32 x 8 rated for speeds up to 2.5 Gb. While the modem is indeed on Xfinity supported device list (check detailed discussions on dslreports.com), what matters is your router. Ensure you have a router capable of 1+Gb speeds.

Q: Can you use both ethernet ports at the same time?
Answer: Update…… I have picked mine up from BestBuy, and YES, you can use both Ports simultaneously. I have the 2.5 to my PC and the other port to my Asus Ax11000 router. I hope this helps.

Question: Does this modem support snmp?
    Answer: No.

Question: Will this modem fit in a 1RU rack space on its side (1.75″)?

Answer: It’s 1.75″ wide so it’d be an extremely tight fit. Maybe. I have to wonder whether that width was deliberate now that you mention it.
