    FAQS :

Is anyone else's clock ticking? It loses a minute or two per hour. This is not a RDS sync issue; I have the same problem with it turned off.

Answer: I've noticed the same thing. I unplugged my phone from CarPlay, and the time now moves at a rate of around a minute per hour. It's quite irritating.

Is the XE version superior to the WE version? Or what is the key distinction? Is there a difference between the processor and RAM?

Answer: There are two differences (and there is a guide in the product description that indicates this). The XE supports SiriusXM as well as charging while connected via USB and using wired Android Auto or CarPlay. The charging issue isn't too serious because the WE supports wireless AA and Carplay, so the charge port should still function (or you can use any other generic phone charger if you need to). The important question is whether or not you require SiriusXM. Also, based on Amazon prices, the XE is less expensive than the WE; therefore, it's worth it to go with the XE, in my opinion.

Is a wire harness included? If not, where can I locate the proper one?

Answer: Starting with the F7G2, all F7 models are aftermarket universal double-din car stereos. As for the universal car radio, it can fit any automobile if there is adequate space to install it or if there are compatible installation kits (dash kit, wire harness, or CANBUS data interface) to help complete the installation. You can first look for installation kits on www.metraonline.com, https://www.crutchfield.com, or https://pac-audio.com; simply enter your vehicle details, and the website will recommend installation kits for your vehicle. Please see the last image of the advertisement for the accessories included with the car radio.

Is it compatible with the 2018 Audi TT?

Answer: F7G2A7SE is our universal radio; for our universal double/single din radio, if your car supports a double/single din, or if an appropriate double/single din dash kit and wiring harness (or CANBUS data interface) are available to finish the installation, they can fit any automobile, including yours. To install the radio, you may need to purchase additional mounting hardware.

When I put the car in reverse, the rearview camera does not instantly engage.

Answer: You must have the rear view switch turned on and the control wire connected to your reverse light circuit. Without it, it has no idea the car is in reverse. I also connected the camera's electricity to that circuit, so it doesn't run all the time. Because it's in the harness for the reverse lights, it should be easy to find.

Is anyone else experiencing battery drain issues? I saw one more comment and several on the A6 model. The wiring was done appropriately according to the handbook.

Yes, I have the A6, and 600 mA is a significant draw. They claim 15 mA, which I believe is bogus. I'm thinking about disconnecting my direct battery lead because I can only go a few days without a dead battery. I have not yet tried out the latest S8 series.

    What Android version is installed?

Dear customer, The S8 second-generation radio runs the Android 10 operating system. If you have any issues or require assistance, please contact ATOTO support at "support@myatoto.com".

Is this going to fit a 2016 GMC Terrain?

Answer: For inquiries about fit, I recommend visiting Crutchfield. They will tell you all you need to know about matching the stereo to your vehicle, including stock amplifiers, etc. It's likely that everything will be less expensive on Amazon, but Crutchfield will be able to provide you with vehicle-specific information.

Will it fit a 2007 Toyota Sequoia equipped with a JBL?

Answer: I'm confident it will. The base, or back, of the radio screen is a standard size that will suit any dash kit. Just keep in mind that it will most likely protrude from the surface and not be flush with it. such as most or smaller-sized touch-screen radios.

Will this suit a Honda Accord from 2000?

Answer: The S8G2A78UL-N is a universal double-din aftermarket car radio; if your vehicle supports a double-din, or if a compatible double-din dash kit and wiring harness (or CANBUS data interface) are available to finish the installation, it will fit any vehicle, including yours.

Is it possible to use downloaded and installed navigation, either native or third-party, without a phone?

Yes, it is. You simply need to install one that allows you to download maps to be kept locally or offline. The preloaded GoogleMaps app has this capability, but it's a pain because it's a Google product, and the app will periodically dump (or expire) your downloaded maps, requiring you to connect to the internet to download updated maps that are rarely any different from the previous ones, unless new roads have been added since the last downloads.
