Is there any recent information regarding accuracy?

On the BM55, what is the Medaval rating?
The American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the American College of Cardiology have all given it their seal of approval.
Part 071.95 is listed in the manual as an appropriate 6V power adaptor. It contradicts some responses that the device runs only on batteries. What is the proper answer?
Answer: The product is powered by batteries.
It also contains a power source in case your batteries die.
I've never had a need to utilise it.
What is the warranty? The only answer I find is that the warranty is in the app ... i don't want to have to install an app to find warranty
Be careful with Omron warranty, they state 5-6 years but coverage is very shady. Their warranty doesn't cover things that happen most often. Many people experience the issues with the plug broken (the blue plug, which connects the tube to the machine) and unfortunately this part is only covered within 1 year (stated in the manual). Once broke, they don't sell just the plug but instead the entire cuff, which costs around $30+.
Does anyone else find the cuff unwieldy to use when attaching to your arm?
I found it a bit awkward at first - but after a few tries you should get it. Make sure you ease it up on your arm just above the elbow and - make sure the tube attached is on the bottom of the cuff and facing downward. Secure the cuff on your arm, relax as much as possible and hit the start button on the machine to get your blood pressure reading. Hopefully you’ve set the machine for 3 readings about 60-90 seconds apart - this will give you the most accurate pressure.
