    Has anyone purchased the $30.00 powered "turbo head brush" that is optional? Please provide input.

    I've owned a lot of carpet cleaners. The "power brush" attachments should be avoided. More than half of the suction power is sent through a turbine to power them, which spins the brushes. Therefore, the moisture in your carpet is not being removed by suction from your carpet. By using a rotating brush that is virtually never powerful enough to achieve anything, you are losing more than half of the machine's suction force. It is a waste and a total loss unless the power brush is powered by an electric motor in the brush handle (which is now unheard of). Unfortunately, you're better off just working hard. However, these carpet cleaners' actual work isn't accomplished by brush movement. Chemical cleaning agents are used, and the unit's suction power is used to suck those chemicals back up out of the carpet along with the dirt or stain. The brush is primarily used to spread the cleaning agents throughout the stain and grime to ensure complete coverage.

    This machine does not "sit" on the carpet and clean by itself; it just has a hand attachment. The "spot bot" line of cleaners are what you need if that's what you're looking for. If you're referring to the handle attachment's revolving brush, this item does not have it. But you should still stay away from those. More than half of the suction in the hose is directed through a turbine in the handle to power the rotating brush. The liquid is not being sucked up out of your carpet since that suction power is being used to turn the brush. More than half of your machine's suction power is being lost. Those brushes' power is seldom particularly strong. Therefore, it is a total waste. Additionally, unlike the conventional cleaning procedure, which involves "brushing" the stain out, the main job of these carpet cleaners is done by the chemicals' strength and the machine's capacity to draw those chemicals (as well as the dirt and stain) back out of the carpet. Therefore, you need more suction force rather than more moving parts. The brush's main purpose is to distribute the chemicals so that all of the filth or stain is coated. something that can be completed quickly and with little effort.

    Anyone who formerly owned a Little Green ProHeat has they acquired one of these? How do their suction powers compare?

    You can, but only if you do it this way.... Use a spray bottle or a garden pressure sprayer to apply a solution of warm water and a few drops of Dawn to the furniture and carpeting in your home. Use only purified water in the Bissell. Keep Dawn away from the machine.

    This unit does have a heavy-duty stain tool, but the hose is also compatible with all of our other carpet cleaner accessories.
