    FAQS :

Is it possible to charge and use the device at the same time, or does charging disable the output connections?

Yes, you can charge and draw power from the battery simultaneously.

How do you charge it using both solar and an adapter?

Answer: The solar panel is connected to the xt60 input, and the ac charging is connected to the dc7909 input. Both channels can take up to 200 watts of power.

    What's the distinction between eb55 and eb70?

Answer: Various capacities (watt-hours). Because the EB55 has 537Wh and the EB70 has 716Wh, the EB55 is smaller, lighter, and easier to transport. Both have a rated power of 700W, but I've heard that BLUETTI may upgrade the EB70 to 800W. In any case, they are a good buy.

Is there a button to enable or disable wireless charging? Or how is it involved?

Answer: By pressing the power button on the DC output section, you enable wireless charging.

How long will it keep a C-Pap running?

Answer: I use a CPAP but do not use a heater or humidifier (both of which use significantly more power than the CPAP alone), and I sleep about 7 hours per night. It used only 11% of the full charge in an overnight test. According to another reviewer, it should last at least a week without being recharged under these conditions. If you have a 12v adapter for your CPAP, you will also get more life out of a charge. Otherwise, the conversion from AC to DC will result in a 10% loss.

Is the chemistry of the battery lifepo4? What is the maximum allowed recharge rate?

The short answer is no. Lithium Ion NMC (Nickel, Manganese, Cobalt) cells are used in all Jackery units. The Explorer 500 has a maximum recharge rate of 100 watts. If you want a LiFePO4 device, Amazon has the Bluetti EB70 for $599. The Explorer 500 is built from 48 individual Lithium Ion NMC cells (18650s) that are soldered and sealed together inside the unit. There are 8-cell groups in parallel, and 6 rows in series. Each cell has a battery capacity of 3,000 mAh @ 3.6V (nominal cell voltage), which equates to 10.8 Wh (watt hours). 3.0 Ah (amp hours) * 3.6V * 48 cells equals 518.4 Wh total battery capacity. The battery in question is known as Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4). It outperforms Lithium Ion in terms of longevity (2,500 cycles and/or 10+ years) and overall safety. The one significant disadvantage is that it weighs significantly more than Lithium Ion or Lithium Polymer (LiPo); however, not nearly as much as lead acid. If you want a LiFePO4 device, Amazon has the Bluetti EB70 for $599. It has a battery capacity of 716 Wh and an AC inverter maximum rate of 700 watts. It does, however, weigh 21.6 pounds, as opposed to the Explorer 500's 13 pounds.

Will this work with my 12V 50W compressor fridge?

In theory, it will run for ten hours. In reality, the fridge will cycle and you will probably get about three times that amount of time. (Assume the fridge is in the shade and temperature is around 80 degrees) Most refrigerators will run for about 30% of the time. You'll get more efficiency if you put it in an insulated bag (if your model has one). You can also cover it with a beach towel. You'd be surprised how much that helps (just don't block the vests). I wrote a much longer review, but Amazon has yet to publish it. However, look for a review under my name in which I discuss using this for a fridge.
