The shaver usually simply needs a low-intensity light cleaning cycle after this.

    Answer: I would rinse the head before brushing the top of the shaver without the head connected. There will most likely be a lot of hair there. Brush the brush under the skull as well, but not on top. Whether you use the station or not, doing so helps keep the cleaning solution cleaner. Water is fine because the shaver is completely waterproof. Of course, if it is cleaned in the station, you will notice a more complete clean and a better, tighter shave.

    Is the Series 9 Pro's shaving head the same as the earlier Series 9's? (94xx as opposed to 93xx or 92xx)

    No, it does not. The new shaver's shaving head is marginally enhanced. It is not currently available individually. The 92xx shaver head, on the other hand, is compatible.
