    Has anyone from the African American community given this shaver a chance to try it out?

    Answer: I am an African diaspora person. A mix of depilatory (magic shave gold container), Andis T-outliner, Remington F5, and this Series 7 Braun shaver works best for me. I use the T-outliner if I go a day or two without shaving, since it takes the larger hairs without forcing them down into my skin. Typically, I begin with the F5, which excels at lifting and cutting short, curly hair. Following that, I use the Series 7, which has the smoothest finish. I get a bunch of little pimples all over the hair growth region if I don't use the depilatory every four days or so. When the depilatory doesn't leave my face feeling smooth, I go straight to series 7. For me, this equates to the smoothest, bump-free finish possible.

    Is it possible for a woman to apply it to her legs?

    One is used by my girlfriend for her legs, armpits, and lady bits. She says it smooths her skin and prevents razor burn and ingrown hairs. This is something we both possess (I use mine on my face though).

    This apartment has a new owner. Is there a good method to pre-clean it by rinsing it or spraying it with air? Is it better to just skip the pre-cleaning? Do you have any additional cleaning suggestions? Thanks! The razor is fantastic.

    In early July 2007, I purchased a Braun 8985 360 Complete Men's Shaver. It's still in use. Every time I shave, I put it through the cleaner. Because I know the cleaning solution will evaporate once the cleaning procedure is completed, I remove the cartridge from the Clean & Charge Station and replace the cap that comes with it until the next shave. The capped cartridge is then placed back in the Clean & Charge Station, but in the up position. The cartridge is now out of the way.

    For $70, I bought a Norelco for my son. He claims that tugging at his skin while going round and round irritates him. Is this the case with this razor as well?

    The quick answer is that I've never been irritated by an electric razor. I've owned various Norelco razors over the years, and the greatest was their most costly one, which I believe cost over $200 when I got it. When the head became dull, the replacement cost was the same as a new Braun, so I got the Braun. I'm quite pleased with it.
