In my situation, I use DK-2212 (black on white, 50' length) or DK-2606 (black on yellow, 50' length) continuous length labels. Keep in mind that these are more expensive than paper labels, but given the clean room application, I'm betting that spending 6X or more per label isn't such a huge deal when the alternative is a particle-shedding label. I can't guarantee that these film tape labels won't shed particles, but the rolls I bought felt like plastic with adhesive, so I'm betting they'll shed less than paper labels. If you need various labels (not the 2.4" wide rolls), just search Amazon for "brother film tape" and you should get a lot of options. They sell non-paper labels; search Amazon for "brother film tape" to see what options are available for your clean room use.
