    Is the wicker basket nonstick? Is it dishwasher safe?

    Answer: The nonstick is fantastic! It really works! In terms of dishwasher safety, I use both hand cleaning and the dishwasher. I've been using it at least once a day for over three years, and it gets washed approximately once a week, or every five days or so. The rest of the time, it merely has to be shaken out or, at most, a quick swipe with a cloth and a couple of drops of Dawn followed by a sprayer rinse. Allow to dry (and thonk the outer basket on the counter on a towel a couple of times on both top and bottom to get water out of the small holes, then just reinstall and run a preheat to finish drying). It seems and behaves as if it were spanking new. I use it as my main oven all the time and cook a lot in it. However, I NEVER use metal utensils.

    What is the volume/noise level of this machine while it is turned on and cooking? Is it peaceful and soundless, or is it raucous and loud?

    Answer: To be honest, it's barely perceptible, and it's rarely on for long enough to annoy me with the noise. I've had much louder dishwashers. It's kind of like a noisy microwave. Or a blaring air conditioner. Car engine gently purring. It's not too loud. Not at all. You may forget it's on after you've become used to it. It's a good thing it has an auto-shutoff feature. When the timer on whatever you're cooking runs out, it switches off. So you won't have to worry about accidentally igniting a fire in your kitchen because you were distracted.

    What distinguishes this model from the newer model?

    Answer: I adore Cosori, however I do not suggest the latest model. My first Cosori was a tiny one, which I liked, but after a year I decided that the larger one was really better for me, even though I was usually cooking for two people. I was about to get the identical air fryer in the 5.8 qt size when I noticed the newer one with the silver front and thought it was so gorgeous, and of course it had to be better because it was newer. RIGHT!! WRONG!! It's just lovely, that's all. The presets are set significantly differently, and I noticed that the icons were reduced in size, and there were only 9 presets instead of 11. On the newest models, there is a menu button that you must keep pressing until you reach the dish that you wish to cook. If you don't mind repeatedly pressing the menu button till you get to "chicken" or "fish," etc., so be it. In contrast to the earlier model, you went right to the food icon, pressed it, and that was it. You may think I'm being selfish, but why pay extra for a product that should be superior in every manner without the added hassle? However, I found it to be peaceful, which was a good thing. I'm returning the newer one and going back to the previous 5.8qt with 11 settings and an easier to use interface. I hope this was helpful.

    Why is this item at Walmart $30 cheaper?

    The temperature range is also varied. This 6-in-1 model promises to go up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, however the 4-in-1 model from Walmart only goes up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Our double-basket Ninja's baskets are 51/2 inches wide, 8 inches long, and 5 inches deep. My wife has been using it almost every day since we bought it.

    When the unit is turned on, does it get hot on the outside?

    Answer: The vents on the backside get hot, while the rest of the sides are only warm.
