    Answer: It's not actually that loud! Steps 1 and 2 vary the regular volume. You can't hear anything at 1, and 2 is also quiet. It does start to sound a little louder about 3 o'clock, when the lights turn reddish or dark pink. Yet, because the fan is moving upward, you hear it vertically rather than horizontally. Concerning the filter, I'm not sure; I haven't replaced it since I received it a few months ago. I also believe it is a washable or cleanable filter.

    Does the smartphone app support two AirMega purifiers (300s or 400s) at the same time?

    Answer: I've spent hours trying to figure out why the second one isn't connecting to Wi-Fi. One readily connects, so I know my password and Internet connection are correct, but the second will not connect to Wi-Fi no matter what I try. Any suggestions??? If I can't get it to operate with Wi-Fi, I'll have to return it.

    They do not, according to the answer. They just have HEPA and carbon filtration. Really secure. We use them in our animal refuge with small birds and kittens, something we couldn't do with ozone.

    The 300 consumes 57 watts, whereas the 400 requires 66 watts.It's really simply a giant fan (of sorts) on the inside that draws air in from the sides and blows it out the top, so it's not that powerful. They do, however, move a lot of air.

    Can anyone who owns this unit notice that you can turn all of the lights off fully, not just dimly?

    To turn off all the lights, simply softly push the correct button on the lower left of the top of the unit, counting the front of the device as the side with the circle of light. It controls the lights by turning them on and off. Tap it gently. The lights go out altogether.
