    FAQS :

For this machine, I'm seeking for exceptionally good-tasting coffee beans. Which one would you suggest?

Milwaukee's Collectivo is the answer. Session roasted, organic, and fair trade beans from a private collection. Try the "Toro" for straight pulls. My favourite "caps & lattes" are their "peacemaker" or "Black & Tan." I have no ties to the corporation and will not profit from these statements in any manner. I've been hunting for a "better cup" for a long time. Since discovering collectivo in 2014, I have never been disappointed. I'm not going to have to look any longer. It's impossible to make a better cup. That being said, best of luck to everyone. I hope you all find your "favourite cup" (regardless of brand).

Is the height specified from the machine's bottom to the top of the grinder?

Answer: It fits snugly beneath my cabinets, which have a space of 18 inches. When filling the bens or water, you'll need to remove it out. On the machine's bottom, we installed sliders. It is ideal for us.

Is a 4 inch cup going to fit?

Yes, a 4-inch mug will fit below this machine.

Are there any heated plastic parts? I'm seeking for a machine that doesn't have any plastic components or even a reserve.

Answer: As far as I can tell, no. Apart from the diverter at the foot of the portafilter beneath the basket, which is only there to assure flow out of each side and is solely controlled by the warmth of the espresso, which should not be an issue. So far, it hasn't been for me.

What is the best way to make the water hotter? My coffee is steaming. However, it is not particularly hot. When cream is added, the dish gets heated. Is there a button somewhere?

Answer: I originally purchased a Delonghi espresso machine and returned it for a different brand, the Perfecta, which works perfectly. (I'm sorry, but I don't recall the original model.) However, it did not heat the water sufficiently. The temperature in the brewer should be between 190 and 205 degrees Fahrenheit. The taste compounds will not be extracted if the coffee is served at a lower temperature, and it will be chilly compared to regular coffee. If the measured temperature in the cup is too low, e.g. below 185 F, the answer is to send it back. There is no way to change the temperature.

Does it tamper on its own?

Yes, it is correct. With the stroke of a button, you may grind, tamp, and extract your ingredients. Whole beans go on top, with little compressed biscuits of spent grounds dumped from the bottom. The volume, strength, and flavour of the espresso produced are all highly constant, implying that the machine prepares it consistently.

Is it possible to produce Americanas with this machine?

Yes, the machine comes with instructions for producing almost every espresso-based beverage you can think of. Very high level of consistency!!! It's that easy!!! All of our friends were blown away by the beverages they made at home for a fraction of the price they would have paid in a coffee shop!

Is it a dual voltage device?

This one is for a 120V system.
