    Is it possible to put dolphins in a vinyl inground pool?

    Yes, it is correct. That's what I've got. Put it in, turn it on, and come back to a clean pool in 3 hours.

    Is the Dolphin Proteus dx3 a decent choice for an in-ground pool made of fiberglas? Will it also remove fine sand from the pool's bottom?

    Answer: I don't see why not....so far it appears to have done a complete bottom cleaning.

    Is it compatible with 220 volts?

    No, it only works with 110 volts.

    Will pollen that has gathered on the pool's bottom be captured by the fine filter? It's a darker residue that looks like dirt.

    Yes, it is correct. Mine has done an excellent job of removing dirt, sand, pollen, and other tiny particles from the pool floor. My pool was filthy since it had gone a number of months without being vacuumed throughout the winter because my typical 3 wheel booster driven vaccum had died. It took 5 or 6 cycles for the new Dolphin to eventually take up all of the grime that had accumulated over those several months, but it has done a fantastic job on the finer stuff. We just use it every two or three days now, and the pool floor is virtually pristine!

    The new unit is disappointing. There's a lot of dirt and leaves gone. I'm on my fourth cycle currently. Is there something I'm missing? I had hoped for a better clean.

    Remove the bag from the chute to pick up large items. It can then pick it up without becoming clogged. Place the bag bag in your usual cleaning routine to catch all of the tiny particles. This is my second Dolphin, and both of them are fantastic!

    Is it safe to leave this in the pool?

    To wash away the trash, I need to raise the Triton and remove the basket from the Triton. To achieve this, I can transfer the Triton to the pool step.

    Does the cable on the new triton power stream versions get tangled?

    Answer: Since receiving my vacuum from Amazon, I've been using it for approximately 3.5 weeks. So far, I've had no problems with the cord tangling. Because my pool was dirty when I opened, I must have used this vacuum at least 15 times. The Unit has done a fantastic job. I used to have the Dolphin Dynamic, which required you to alternate the handle to keep the cable from tangling. I never had any problems with that machine. This machine is significantly lighter and cleaner than my previous one. So far, I'm quite pleased with it.
