    FAQS :

Can I link it to my home theater?

Yes, I have a Sony home entertainment system linked to this. My Xfinity HDMI and Chromecast are connected to the Sony receiver, and the output is sent to this projector. It works excellently, and there's nothing like looking at a 140-inch screen!

Any ideas for a ceiling mount? I observe that there are just three screw provisions. I'm just trying to figure out which mount will work.

Answer: I purchased my ceiling mount from Amazon when I purchased my projector. There are five holes: four in the corners for broad mounts and one in the center for single-point mounting.

Is there a 3.5mm audio out port so I can connect to my speakers?

Answer: The projector has a 3.5mm audio port on the rear. Note: If your music equipment supports Bluetooth, the projector can also connect to your stereo or audio player. I personally use 5.0 GHz WiFi to broadcast to the projector and link audio through Bluetooth to reduce cable clutter.

Assume I was watching Netflix. Can I connect it to my AV receiver so that sound from my surround system plays over HDMI?

Yes, you very certainly can. This projector is situated at the top of a vaulted ceiling, and a 50-foot active HDMI wire connects it to my home entertainment receiver. The only difference between my setup and what you've described is that I'm wiring HDMI from my receiver to my projector. It appears that you are referring to connecting the HDMI cable from your projector to your receiver. This will function properly in any case because this projector is capable of originating material via Android TV.

How can I obtain a replacement remote?

Answer: Send a message through the Epson support website if you accidentally damaged ours. They have been quite helpful when we have had issues with our projector.

What's the difference between this and the previous model?

Answer: I ultimately chose the newer model, which I'm delighted I did, but it now makes more clear what some of these upgrades accomplish and when they could be beneficial. Because, while I'm not currently using them, they may be useful in the future, and I now feel like I'll be able to get more out of this projector. By the way, that projector is amazing! It's definitely worth the extra money to purchase one of these instead of the cheaper ones!

How dark of a room is required to utilize this projector?

Even in a well-lit environment, it will work. The projector also has a "Bright" option, which is much brighter, but I believe that standard mode is adequate even in strong light.

    Does it support 3D?

Answer: Make sure you're wearing a set of DLP Active Link glasses and that you're using a 3D Blu-ray player.

How does this seem throughout the day?

Answer: Because it has a low lumen output, light must be adjusted to get the most out of it. Obviously, the deeper the color, the better. If you need a projector during the day, search for one with a considerably greater lumen output.

Is it possible for the Ht2050a to accept video from a cell phone? such as the Galaxy A10e? My new HTC 3550, however, will not.

Please be advised that this model does not enable wireless connectivity. We recommend connecting your gadgets through the D-Sub and HDMI interfaces.

Is it possible to recharge this projector?

As other Amazon customers have remarked, this device requires a 100- to 240-volt AC power source and must be hooked into a power outlet in order to render your material. I
