    FAQS :

Which kinds of coffee beans should I use with this machine? According to several evaluations, it's picky when it comes to oily beans...

Answer: In 2014, we purchased our first Gaggia Brera. It was ideal for five years. We had no problems grinding, and the machine wore out after a lot of everyday use, so we bought a new one in 2019. YIKES! The amount of money we've squandered on beans is ridiculous. Unfortunately, the grinder will ground up a whole shot of beans before rejecting them, thus money is wasted each time this happens. Worse, buying such an expensive machine only to be restricted to a small number of coffee brands is unjust to the consumer. We like a lot of different roasters, and the grinder sensor on this machine will accept one bag of beans and refuse the next of the same brand. We did some research and discovered that most Italian manufacturers use the same sensors on their grinders, therefore this is a problem with many fully automated machines. I beg you, Gaggia, to fix this situation. You have a fantastic machine, however this one flaw completely degrades it. After ten months of use, we're thinking about getting rid of this machine. Sending it in for repairs doesn't fix the sensor problem, and the repairs (even if covered by warranty) are quite expensive due to transportation.

Is it possible to utilise it in a 220V environment?

The machine is 1400 watts and 120 volts. Any other location where it is used poses a significant danger of harm to the machine as well as the outlet.

Can I grind my beans ahead of time because I have Starbucks beans that aren't good for the machine?

Yes, utilise the pre-grind and bypass functions on the machine to use Starbucks coffee. In the coffee grinder, do not use Starbucks beans.

Does this machine only create espresso or can it also make tall coffees?

Answer: Yes, this machine can brew a tall cup of coffee. To produce less strong coffee, adjust the amount of beans per grind. You may preset two cups by leaving your cup beneath the spout. This will offer you a larger cup of coffee.

When the machine is ready to brew coffee, how long does it take for it to warm up?

Answer:it will take about 2 minutes from the time you switch on the machine.

Is it possible to create a large cup of coffee or is it limited to tiny or double espresso?

Answer: If you want to make an americano, you can always use the wand to add hot water to the espresso. If you're searching for drip coffee, this isn't the place to go.

What's the status of the espresso lungo coffee? Is it the same as a tall cup of coffee in the United States?

Answer: Our favourite is a double Espresso Lungo, which is practically an Americano (normal cup of coffee). An Espresso Lungo takes one minute and fifteen seconds at basic settings, or roughly 2:30 for the double.

    How many watts are there?

When the coffee maker is actively boiling water, it uses 1400 watts.

    Is there a double boiler?

Answer: I have no idea. This is a fantastic machine at an even better bargain. Description: Gaggia Brera vs Anima
