    Is it possible to work with iOS?

    Answer:On OSX, this mouse works well with no additional software required. It's as easy as plugging in a light bulb. Between my Macbook Pro at home and the PCs at work, I utilise it on a daily basis. Connect the receiver, and with a single button press, I may change the button configurations for each OS.

    Answer: It can be switched on and off, just like the MX Revolution. Instead of pressing the wheel, you switch by pressing the button right below it.

    I'd appreciate it if someone could explain dpi scaling to me. The greater the dpi, I understand, the easier it is to click on a pixel. Why do individuals prefer a low dpi resolution?

    Answer: In terms of what increased DPI does, some folks get it backwards. The higher the DPI, the less exact it is. Precision refers to the ability to control a greater amount of detail. In this case, a LOWER DPI will provide more precision. If you go into "sniping" mode in gaming, for example, you want higher precision from your mouse so that even if you move it a little more, the "cursor" does not move as much. For the same reason, in graphic/photographic work where more accuracy is required to manipulate pixels, a lower DPI will provide more precision. High DPI allows you to move the pointer further with less mouse movement. This is especially useful on televisions with extremely high resolutions, such as 1920 x 1080. It will only take around a 1 second if you have a mouse with a DPI of 2000p/inch "To move the cursor from the extreme left to the extreme right, move the mouse. It will take about 2 minutes if your mouse DPI is 1000 pixels per inch "To go from left to right, move the mouse left to right. As you might expect, a lower DPI allows for more precision because it allows for less cursor movement even when your hand moves more.     Is the G700s compatible with glass? I have a Logitech MX performance and would like to add more macro keys to it.

    Answer: I've been using the Logitech G700 (an older, nearly identical version of the G700S) on glass for 7 years and it's been fantastic. The glass, on the other hand, is a mouse pad, and it appears to be designed for use with a laser mouse. 'Corepad' is the name of the pad, which is made in Europe. It differs from a smooth sheet of glass in that it has a smooth bottom but a matrix of small, somewhat rough dots on the working surface. When I try to use the mouse on the 'Corepad' with the smooth side up, it is utterly unworkable. The pad also has a small rubber sheet underneath it; this setup works well and provides excellent tracking response. —in fact, it's the greatest pad I've ever used.

    What is the mouse's maximum dpi?

    Answer: Using the Logitech software, the dpi range for this mouse is 1000 to 2500. I've had mine set to 1500. I hope this information is useful.

    yes Only while marked on will it work. The switch is fairly secure, so there will be no inadvertent movement.
