    FAQS :

Can I set up the speakers in two locations? In my opinion, they should be on opposing sides of my class.

No, there is a wired connection between the two speakers, so no.

How far away from one another may the speakers be placed?

    approximately 4-4.5 feet

Do these require an outlet, or are they powered via USB?

No, there is no USB jack on these speakers. They need to be plugged into a power outlet, which is OK for me as I use them with my desktop PC.

Is this wireless-compatible? just plugged in, or both?

This is compatible with Bluetooth and cable connections. Both are also available simultaneously.

These speakers' power source is unknown.

The only source of electricity for them is an electrical cable that goes from the speakers and is hooked into an outlet.

Do these speakers not require a direct line to the computer, as I believe? I do not wish to connect them to my computer because of my restricted space.

If you have the option to connect Bluetooth devices to your computer, the answer is yes. No wire connection is necessary. However, keep in mind that for this set to operate, a wall outlet is required!

Just how large are these speakers?

They measure H9.5"xW3.5"xD4", and the speakers themselves are advertised as having a 2.5" diameter.

Is there a wire that can be plugged into a wall jack?

Response: Yes. The internal amplifier is powered in this manner. Two cables are included with each set of speakers: one connects into the audio out connector on your computer or monitor, and the other into a regular wall jack.

How much distance is there between the two speakers' cables?

Answer: 4 feet for the 3.5mm audio connector, 6 feet from speaker to speaker, and 6 feet for power.

Do they work for senior people who don't want to turn on their televisions? How about elderly people who have bad hearing?

In order for our elderly friend to hear her TV without her hearing aids in place, we bought her these. She claims that even if they are loud enough, she is unable to adjust the level using her remote. If the TV volume switches also control the audio output, some TVs (like my Vizio) offer a setting in the menu. This function is absent from the TV for which we bought the device; the output volume is constant. She must thus get up in order to adjust the speakers' level. I'd have to double-check with her, but I think the remote's "mute" button still functions. Depending on your TV, an adaptor could be required to connect it.

If so, is there a selection switch that allows both inputs to be played simultaneously? Or must both be disconnected simultaneously while using one?

The answer is that they both need to be hooked up. No selection switch is present. They are for computers, and most of them, in my opinion, only have one audio out connection. Consider using common bookshelf speakers that you can connect to a switch. Description: Logitech Z207 vs Z200
