What is the length of the cords connecting the speakers? Logitech has a poor habit of using 6-foot cords.
My speakers are located on a shelf above my PC.
Can I connect more Bose speakers to this system?
Answer: If they have RCA connectors, they could, but just two speakers. I haven't tried connecting extra speakers to mine because they sound fine as is.
The speakers are for my television set. Is it possible to regulate the volume with a remote?
Answer:There isn't really a method to control the speakers with the remote; however, I recommend putting them at a decent high or mid volume and then making sure your television volume is set to 0. Then gradually increase the volume until you have achieved a comfortable level, as if you were operating them with a remote. Sorry, but that's the best I can give you.
How far apart may the control pod be from the subwoofer?
Answer: Because the control pod is linked to the subwoofer, it will be within 185cm (72.8 inches).
How long do these speakers live on average?
Answer: OVER 7 YEARS! I bought these at college in December of 2013. The speakers have been relocated more than ten times; however, I saved the original box for moving purposes. I eventually bought a house, and these are still my primary TV speakers. I suggest this pair of speakers to anybody looking for a movie theater and an exhilarating music experience in the comfort of their own home!
How does one extend the cable of the control speaker with the 15 pin vga cable? a regular vga cable extension didn't work.
The issue with almost all VGA Extension cables is that they connect pins 6, 7, 8, and 10 to the casing (GND). This is OK for a VGA cable but not acceptable for an extension cable. It is ineffective in extending the right control speaker.
Instead, use the Amphenol Cable Extension, which connects the pins directly through.
5', 10', 15', and 25' lengths are available. When looking for the desired length, simply alter the last two digits.

Answer: I experienced this problem, and connecting the speaker connection from the subwoofer to the computer in the other manner as directed cured it for me. So attach the 90-degree end of the speaker line to the subwoofer rather than the PC. I had previously attempted to ensure that they were well seated and have no logical reason for why this would make a difference, but try it and see if it works for you as well.

6 foot cables to satellites is too short for my cabinets. Is there a way to replace or lengthen them
Yes, and it's both simple and inexpensive. You only need a single RCA male-to-female connection. Purchase it for as long as you want to space out the satellite speakers. It also does not need to be a heavyweight cable because it is simply transmitting a signal to one of the satellites and will not be carrying much power.
