Can you take the stand off?
The CM1150V's stand is simply removed by removing a single silver screw from the bottom of the device.
You require a Torx-8 screwdriver or something similar to use this specific modem.
It was mentioned in an earlier review, perhaps for a different modem, that a Torx-9 was needed.
Does this support IP from Spectrum or U Verse?
ATT (Uverse) is built on DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) technology, which is not at all compatible with DOCSIS. I'm not sure about Spectrum (Data Over Cable).

Answer: According to a simple internet search, NO, you cannot.
