    FAQS :

Is there a "shower head" on this coffee machine that soaks the grinds first?

This maker completely saturates all of the grounds (or tea leaves). During the brewing process, a drip stop is used so that the initial water entering the machine is "kept" in the grounds for a little time before being brewed into the receptacle. It makes amazing coffee.

I looked all over the box (and the product details above) and couldn't discover the capacity of the carafe: is it an 8-cup, 10-cup, or 12-cup?

Answer: According to the Q&A, it is a 50-ounce carafe. This is referred to as a 10-cup glass carafe. They also stated that a 5 oz serving is usual around the world rather than the 8 oz Americans typically conceive of as a cup.

Is this machine capable of producing espresso?

Answer: We regret to inform you that the Ninja Hot & Cold Brewed SystemTM does not feature an espresso setting. Having said that, the specialty brew setting combines super-rich coffee with hot or cold frothed milk to make delectable coffeehouse-style drinks.

I still have coffee "pooling" within the filter after the brewing process has finished. Why isn't all of this water or coffee being poured into the carafe?

Answer: You can change the default drip stop time to 15, 30, 45, 60, or OFF. I set mine to 60 seconds and have yet to see any water pool in the filter. Hold the drip stop button for a few seconds until the display appears, then select the time you wish the drip stop to last.

Is this 201 model SCAA-approved? What temperature does it brew at?

Answer: A video is available on YouTube. The man takes the temperature. More than 170 degrees. It's quite hot.

Can this be set to brew at a specific time?
