Answer: Mine came with enough charge for one brush. It took approximately 4 hours to fully charge, but now I have more than enough charge for days of brushing. I'm not sure how many days it's been because I charge it after every brush. For best battery health, it's been recommended to turn it on and run it until it stops, then recharge it every six months.
How tall is the item when the charging base, handle, and brush head are all included?

Answer: No, it appears to be built for a single user alone. The software only supports one user, and while the brush may pair with many devices for numerous users, the implementation is poor. If you share the brush with someone else and both of you always remember to open the app on your phone before brushing, it will work fine, and you will only see your own data in the app. If you brush without initially launching the app, the brush keeps the data until it connects to a phone and uploads all of the data. So, if you use it without connecting your phone and your spouse connects their phone, the brush will download data from the time you stroked it to their phone.
Does the app display the date, time, and duration of brushing? Can we utilize it to keep track of our children's brushing habits?
Answer: It displays the date but not the actual time of each brushing. It does, however, display whether the brushing occurred in the morning, afternoon, or evening, as well as the quantity of brushings performed during each time period of the day. It also displays the length of each brushing but will not record any brushings that are shorter than 30 seconds long. I don't see why you couldn't use this to track your child's brushing habits, but bear in mind that the brush will only store data from the previous 20 brushings, so you'd need to sync with the app every week or so to ensure that all of the data was captured. (Assuming your youngster does not use the app every time they clean their teeth.)
Is it possible to connect my existing Smartguide device to this new product? I understand that the app does the same thing, but SmartGuide is more convenient.
Answer: I can confirm that you can connect a SmartGuide to this toothbrush; however, I believe it must be from the same SmartSeries. The SmartGuide from my old PC 5000 toothbrush does not work with this one. To be more specific, I attached the SmartGuide from my Braun 7000 SmartSeries toothbrush to this 5000 SmartSeries toothbrush. The SmartGuide then connects to both SmartSeries toothbrushes, but it will only operate with one at a time.
My current Oral B brush, obviously not the brush heads but the motor, is shared with my spouse. Can you pair and manage two user accounts or devices?
No, it does not. The brush will link with two smartphones, and it will work as long as you and your partner have the app open when brushing. If you don't have the app open, the problem occurs. When not connected to an app, the brush will save data for up to 20 brushings and sync it with the first device that connects to it. So, if your partner brushes in the morning without opening the app, then you come along and brush, it will add two morning brushings to your app—your partner's as well as yours.
This appears to come with two brush heads. Which ones are there?
Answer: It only comes with one head; I don't know the model number, but it's round... This toothbrush is fantastic; I highly suggest it!
