    FAQS :

    Does it accommodate 220 volts?

There is no way that this will operate on 220V. I have a labelled, 110-220V-compatible Oral-B charger from a previous model. It differs significantly from the present charger in several ways. I've only ever encountered flexible voltage base in various Oral-B brush generations and models. Plugging anything 110V into a 220V line voltage is risky. The claims that something can be used on 220V if it is low power are untrue.

In order for the entire family to use the brush, could you put up additional users on the app? (using different heads of course)

Unfortunately, it appears to be made for just one user, therefore the answer is no. The brush can pair with numerous devices for various users, however the software only supports one person, and it's poorly implemented. It will function fine and you'll only see your own data in the app if you're sharing a brush with someone else and you both *always* remember to open the app on your phones before you start brushing. On the other hand, if you brush without initially launching the app, the brush will save the data until it connects to a phone and downloads it all. The data from the time you brushed will be downloaded to your partner's phone if you use the brush without connecting your phone.

Does the app display the date, time, and brushing duration? Can we utilise it to keep an eye on how our kids brush their teeth?

The precise time is not shown; only the date of each brushing is. However, it does reveal the number of brushings performed during each hour of the day as well as whether the brushing occurred in the morning, afternoon, or evening. It displays the duration of each brushing as well, however it does not record any brushes that last less than 30 seconds. I don't see why you couldn't use this to keep an eye on how your child brushes their teeth, but keep in mind that the brush will only store data from the previous 20 brushings, so you would need to sync with the app once every week or so to make sure you have all of the info. (Presuming your youngster doesn't use the app each time they use the bathroom)

    Can the battery be changed?

In electronics, batteries can always be changed. Removing it and installing a new one is the challenging part. Typically, these batteries are AA or a shorter or wider variant. Many battery websites have them readily available. Swapping out the batteries will be simple if you know how to desolder and solder, which is a skill that any adult can learn. On Amazon, a soldering kit is $25 or less; I advise getting one with adjustable temperature or with a 25-watt or lower power supply to avoid scorching the circuit board. Each battery with soldering tabs costs $2 to $4. (do not buy these on Amazon because they are a ripoff; find an independent battery website). For instructional videos, see youtube.

How long do your devices take to charge? My blue lights seem to flash for 15 to 20 hours before stopping. It takes all day and a portion of the night for it to quit flashing when I run it down until the orange light turns on. Before that charge in a few hours, I had numerous others.

Answer: Like you, I'm interested in this. Specifically, the length of time needed for the first charge right after unpacking. I usually leave new electric toothbrushes 24 hours to fully charge, even if they have all given me some sign that they are at least 50% charged after 10 hours. The orange light illuminates as soon as I turn the power button on and off, indicating that this brush still has a low charge. I sincerely hope I did not receive a faulty item. For your information, the instructions specifies that when the brush is on the stand and fully charged, the blue button will cease flashing after approximately 30 seconds.

Is the toothbrush itself 110 volts or is it the charger? If it's the charger, I may use my old 220v model from the UK (Oral-B 4000)

It is dual voltage, that much is true. The Oral-B device itself is dual voltage (manufactured in Germany), only the US charging base supports 110v. All you need is another Oral-B 240v charging base outside of the US. Therefore, your present 240v base (model/type nu-3757) will function just fine if you are updating your Oral-B outside of the US.

    Is this a 110 or 110/220 model?

Answer: Whether this model is 110 or 110/220

Has anyone ever employed both? I've used sonicare for years; is there a significant difference between rotating and plunging an oral b?

My Sonicare Diamondclean lasted 2.5 years. It was the least impressive $200 toothbrush I've ever used. My teeth never felt clean, so I had to go back and rebrush, sometimes even twice or three times. The Sonicare does not revolve; it merely vibrates slightly. If I use the Oral B properly (and not in a hurry), my teeth feel incredibly clean—much, much, much cleaner than they did with the Sonicare. The Oral B rotates and may vibrate (I'm not sure?). I considerably prefer Oral B. The lengthy charging process is the sole disadvantage, as others have mentioned.

What distinguishes the whitining mode from other modes?

I was unable to identify any differences in the procedure. However, I adore this toothbrush. Simple to operate, lightweight, effective, and a cute small clock.
