    FAQS...

    Plantronics Voyager 5200 FAQS…

Question: What exactly is included in this package?
Answer: No ear cushions are included. After a few minutes of wearing the earpiece, they irritated my ears.

Question: Is it possible to charge with the earlier Legend series magnetic clasping cables? The terminals are shown in the photos, but their location has changed.
Answer: Do not purchase the above-mentioned earpiece and charger. The Legend’s cable, not the 5200’s, is included. Poly (plantronics) does not produce the affordable, easy magnetic charger for the 5200 for some odd reason, and the base has been altered to the point where it no longer fits the voyager charger. However, they will gladly overcharge you for a big, cumbersome case/docking unit. I’ve had this product for over a decade and it’s the finest on the market; however, I do have around seven now-inactive charging ports!

Question: Is there a mute button?
Answer:Yes, there is a mute button on it.

Question:Is this the most recent Plantronics Voyager model available?
Answer: The Voyager 5200 and 5220 both claim to be Bluetooth 4.1 (official product information may be found on the Plantronics website), however the Voyager 5200 UC claims to be “Blutooth 5.0 with BLE.” On the Plantronics website, I don’t see any Voyagers that are newer than that.

Question: How do you switch between two linked devices (for example, to answer a phone while using it on a PC screen share)?
Answer:Hello! is the response. Receiving a phone call on the second device will trigger a notice on the headset; at this point, you may answer the call and switch the audio over by pressing the call button once.

Question:Is it possible to link this model to a laptop? Is there a USB cable included with this bundle to connect a laptop to the voyager?
Answer: Bluetooth headsets can be used by devices that support them, and if your laptop has Bluetooth built-in and your adapter supports the proper profiles (HSP for calls and A2DP for media streaming), you may link and use any of them (including our Voyager 5200). This is the regular Voyager 5200, which does not come with the BT600 adaptor. The BT600 as well as the charging case are included in the package of our Voyager 5200 UC model; component number 206110-01 may be found on it. Plantronics Voyager 5220 FAQS…

Question:My order arrived a few days ago, however it was missing the portion that connects to the bluetooth to charge it. Is that something you have to buy separately?
Answer: There is a little rubber door on the very bottom of the machine that opens, and you put the micro usb into it.

Question:What is the method of charging?
Answer: A micro USB connector on the bottom of the ear piece is used to charge it.

Question:Is the bass or volume appropriate for driving in a car? I’m going to ask anyone who’s had this for a time. How’s it doing so far?
Answer: For what it is, the sound quality is quite decent. I actually use this in my car instead of my vehicle’s Bluetooth since it makes it so much easier for me to hear and for others to hear me. It’ll certainly remain in your ear when you’re exercising.
