    What is the difference between a 6qt and an 8qt container?

    The 6QT is 1700 watts, but the 8QT is just 1500 watts, according to the literature given with each. There is a significant variation in heating capacity!!

    What is the purpose of the dehydrator? Has anyone put it to the test yet?

    Answer: I tested it for thinly sliced pineapple and it came out exactly as it went in after 10 hours at 125 degrees... the top rack, however, is drier than the other racks. I tried for another 10 hours with the bottom rack up and the top rack down. So far, I haven't been wowed.

    Has anyone else detected a burned rubber odour while using the oven??

    Answer: for those of you who can't stand the scent of plastic... Put the vinegar and lemon juice in an oven-safe basin and bake for 10 minutes at 370-400 degrees, repeating if necessary. Then just add water in the bowl and let it run for 10 minutes or longer to get rid of the odour, men. I was disappointed as well, but this method works!!! It's a fantastic product that works well!

    Is it better to cook shish kebobs vertically or horizontally and rotate them? What is the maximum number of shish kebobs that can be fried at one time?

    The kabobs aren't the simplest to put together on this machine. In fact, it's extremely inconvenient. However, it did a fantastic job of cooking them quickly and thoroughly.

    Is it possible to toast in this airfryer?

    Answer: I have a Vortex 7 in 1 that doesn't have a toast setting. However, I use it to make toast. The programmes are just easy ways to select the ideal temperature and time combinations for various tasks, but I seldom use them. To toast bread, keep a close eye on the time and turn the bread over halfway through, as the bottom will not brown otherwise. In our household, the toasted cheese sandwiches baked in the Air Fryer are a favourite. I spray one side of the bread with a little olive oil (you could also use butter), spread mayonnaise or other dressing on the other side, then sandwich the cheese and whatever else I desire between two slices of bread. I plug it in, choose Air Fryer, set the timer for 2 minutes, and turn on the light to keep an eye on it. While the oven is preheating, one side should be sufficiently browned. Then I flip it over and keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't brown too much on the other side. These grilled cheese sandwiches are wonderfully crispy. They turn out a lovely golden brown hue if the timing is correct.

    No, according to the owner's handbook!! The metal tray, but not the basket, may be washed in the dishwasher.
