    FAQS :

Only use the solution that comes with the vacuum, according to the manufacturer. Where can I buy the solution? I can't seem to locate a refill bottle.

Answer: I don't have any problems with other items. Does anyone truly heed to what the makers say about which ones to use? For the greatest results, my washer recommends Downy and Tode. For the greatest results, my dishwasher recommends Finish. I'm not a fan of either. When water is added to the water container, Quick & Shine floor cleaning or Method Spray work nicely.

Is it possible to use it on low-profile area rugs?

Answer: I used mine on a Walmart area rug that was slightly shaggy. It did an excellent job of removing dirt, chips, and hair. Do it on a filthy, empty tank. Stop halfway through the process to clean out the tank and the roller, then finish. Alternatively, perform a short pass of the entire thing before it spits water out like it does when it's full.

The device turns off when I hit the spot button. When the spray trigger is pressed, it also turns off. Is there something I'm missing?

Answer: You're probably turning on the self-clean mode by pushing the "on" button for an extended period of time. I tried the same thing and concluded that my vacuum was defective. It turns out I was simply doing it incorrectly! To vacuum/mop, press the button for 1 second...hold the button for 3 seconds and it will turn on and clean itself.

Is it possible to change just the battery, or do you have to repair the complete unit?

Answer: Please be advised that the iFloor Washer's battery is built-in. If there are any issues with the battery, it must be changed in its entirety.

Is it possible to vacuum dry using this? What's more, how does this keep the grout between the tile lines clean?

Answer: I've tried it with a dry vac and grout. First and foremost, it is designed to absorb water. Yes, it will clean large things off the floor, but it will not clean small dust and debris that accumulates over time. It will, however, be sucked up by the sea. When it comes to grout, you'll still need to clean it if you have deep crevice grout, which means the grout isn't flush with the top of the tile. I have both, as well as uneven stone with holes and crevices in the tile itself, which it does not clean effectively, but it works better than a conventional mop ever could.

Is it possible for you to utilise your own solution?

Answer: I have a 20-year-old carpet cleaner in Bissel that I use myself. Naturally, the company will only promote its own cleaning goods. If you use something else, they can't guarantee the outcomes. I use hot water and 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. Use a ratio of 1 to 5.5. 1 part peroxide, 5.5 parts water It cleans, disinfects, and removes pet stains effectively. This recipe will not harm your computer. For cleaning your shower, bathtub, and tiles, use a 1 to 1 ratio in a spray bottle. On touch, it eliminates mildew, removes scum from glass, and illuminates your tub.

What is the difference between model 1785a and model 1785w?

Answer: There is no difference between Bissell® CrossWave® All-in-One Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac 1785A and 1785W. Bissell just marks the A letter to indicate that this model is available straight from Amazon, whereas the 1785W model is available through Walmart.

I have two inquiries. 1. Is there an odour to the cleaning solution (I have allergies)? 2. Is it possible to use this to spruce up an oriental area rug?

NO, do not ruin your oriental rug (if it is made of wool)! I have three oriental carpets, all of which are made entirely of wool. They should only be dry cleaned. You should not use a home rug cleaning machine like this one because the water (and, even more so, the combination of water and the rug cleaning solution) can take the colour out of your rug and/or cause the colours of your gorgeous oriental rug to run. Have it professionally dry cleaned by a reputable dry cleaning firm if it's truly nasty (we sent one of our rugs out for this). Yes, it's pricey, but they did a fantastic job cleaning our rug). Otherwise, use a carpet-cleaning brush and a specialty cleaner like 'Capture Carpet Dry Cleaner Powder.' However, make sure your rug's fibre content is correct. Is it a real oriental rug made of wool or a synthetic knockoff? If it's an American-made 'oriental,' the fibre composition and maker should be listed on a tag on the bottom. If this is the case, see the manufacturer for cleaning instructions.
