Because the 300P's gauge only shows up to 100psi, we recommend the 400P-Auto or 400P-RV.
Does this also inflate your tyres?
Answer: This does not deflate the tyres; the reed valves within the compressor head prevent backflow quite effectively.
Using the gauge removed from the yellow hose will not allow air to escape because the gauge itself contains a check valve.
You can bleed air using the button on the rear, but it will be excruciatingly slow.

I have always had greater than 80% duty cycle from my compressor (8 min into 4 tyres in under 10 minutes).
I have not yet thermally shut it down.
