    This went on for a while, but now the gadget tries to stay on and the on/off button is broken. This problem affects everyone. Has Wahl spoken about it?

    My possession dates back about six years. The on/off button's rubber triangle appears to corrode and degrade, leading to the circular on/off button's misalignment and malfunction. The only way I could switch it on and off was to plug and unplug the dc charging post into the razor, and even then, it wasn't always successful. I considered throwing it away, but I changed my mind and played around with it instead. (I enjoy solving issues.) So I took off the button and the triangle rubber button holder, but now I can turn it on and off by pressing the tiny internal button with a bobby pin where the circular plastic button used to make contact. For aesthetic reasons, I only replaced the worn-out rubber triangle, and switching it on and off now only requires inserting a bobby pin through the hole. Hope this was useful.

    Are there any more products I can get since the number 1 comb trims my beard too low and the number 2 comb trims it too high?

    In 2019, when I purchased mine, it came with a #1.5 guard. See what they say when you try calling Wahl customer service; they could have something available for you. It appears that the supplied accessories have changed a little since 2019 (2022), or that the trimmer kit actually has a different product number with various pack-ins. Wahl Stainless Steel Lithium Ion Plus was the product I bought from the same URL; the name has now changed, but the clipper still has the same appearance.

    Is it both corded and cordless compatible?

    No. No matter if the charger is powered on or not, it won't work with the cord attached. It is not intended to function while a device is plugged into the charging port. A "travel plug," a little piece of plastic that may be put into the charging port to prevent the trimmer from unintentionally turning on while in transit, is included with the trimmer. I've owned my trimmer for around three months. I use it for a few minutes a few times a week. Since the first charge I gave it when I first acquired it, I have not needed to recharge it.

    Is it water-resistant?

    It's still the best tiny trimmer/shaver I've ever bought, but the answer is no. Additionally, the waterproof ones I previously owned from other manufacturers didn't cut or have as many uses as this one.

    I am aware that it is not water-resistant and shouldn't be used near moving water. Would applying it to a damp face or scalp be safe?

    In order to prevent rust, just keep your blades greased.

    The trimmers work well, but you must get used to how they feel in your hands.

    Can I wash it while the machine's blade is running?

    In response, I believe you are requesting permission to wash the head while it is still fastened to the motor base. You could enter from the front, but doing so would need caution and would not be thorough. Remove the head if possible. Simply pull down to remove the head; if you wash it, be sure to oil it afterwards to prevent rusting. Usually, I use alcohol to wipe my head before re-oiling it.
