    Does this get rid of poop smell?

    Depends on what you define as a "fart odour," really. For example, my son occasionally pops off his thruster and I swear the gas smells like rotten bananas, but he insists that someone is grilling chicken. The unknown! I do wish my car had an inverter so I could transport the 5300 when he rides along with me. The next time his thruster goes off and the car starts to smell like rotting bananas (I mean grilled chicken), I swear I'm going to give an inverter some serious thought.

    What does the term "plasmawave" mean?

    Answer: Visit You Tube and search for "WINIX PlasmaWave Technology Hydroxyl video." OH is not O3, either.

    are the fliters reusable? if not, how frequently need they be replaced?

    Answer: There are 3 filters: a changeable HEPA filter, a replaceable charcoal filter, and a washable pre screen filter. The recommended schedule is 1 year for the HEPA (fine particles) and 3 months for the charcoal (for odor removal). The majority of "bigger" dirt can be vacuumed off the washable pre screen, or it can be washed, dried, and cleaned thoroughly. I give mine a short 30 second vacuum around once every other week to prevent the filters behind it from losing efficiency or failing too soon, and I might wash and dry it twice a year. However, your routine will differ depending on the quantity of larger dust, hair, and clothes fibres in your area.

    If you were in my shoes, would you repurchase this item? Do you have any regrets?

    Answer: Yes. I have severe allergies, and just a few months of use has much improved things. In the morning, especially, I experience less congestion. It requires little upkeep. Don't forget to vacuum the exterior filter every two weeks. Replace carbon filter every 3 months (it comes with 4 so it lasts the year) and change HEPA filter every year. Low sound. barely aware that it exists. But most importantly, my allergies become better. There is no cost for that. Actually, you can. It's a $100. For the chance to enjoy your breakfast once again, that is a tiny price to pay. No remorse.

    The Samsung TV that came with my 5300-2 has a remote that also turns it on and off, therefore I don't use it. Sincerity be told, the c535, 5500-2, and 5300-2 are essentially identical. Given that they are all outstanding, I would choose the one with the best pricing.
