    FAQS :

Is this radio compatible with tpms over USB?

Answer: For one thing, the ATOTO AC-UTP1 TPMS kit is offered separately; for another, the ATOTO AC-UTP1 TPMS kit can be connected to the USB cable labeled "external storage" from the back of the A6 PF model.

Is a harness adapter required for a 2006 Ford F-150?

Answer: You don't want to cut the vehicle cabling in order to install a different headset. YES, obtain the correct harness that connects to the OEM wiring. Connect the adaptor to the new headset using proper soldering procedures. It will save a lot of hair tugging and keep the language and thinking cleaner.

Is it compatible with the Mercedes E350 2006?

Yes, my son and I installed an A6 PF 7inch in his 2004 E320. If you have a MOST fiber network (amp in trunk), you will need a fascia adapter, a canbus adapter box, a fiber optic decoder box, and a fiber loop to bypass the CD changer if it was initially equipped.

The subwoofer isn't working. The amplifier is turned on, the RCA wires are attached, and the frequency is set. Is there anything extra I should do for subs?

Answer: If you have the model with only one RCA out for subwoofers, I believe it will only be the left channel. You shouldn't link it that way. They direct the line level converters to connect to the rear left and right speakers (located in front of the head unit) and then plug the RCAs into them. Following that, any other problems should not be attributed to the head unit.

Which atoto harness wire should I connect the backup camera to?

Answer: On the ATOTO wiring harness, there is a wire called "Rear Camera (+)" to which the backup camera can be connected. We recommend the ATOTO AC-HD02LR backup camera since it has Live Rear View (being able to view the situation in the back at all times). You can buy the head unit and the camera together.

Is anyone else experiencing battery drain issues? I saw one more comment, and several on the A6 model. According to the handbook, this was properly wired.

Yes, I have the A6, and 600mA is a significant draw. They claim 15mA, which I believe is bogus. I'm thinking about disconnecting my direct battery lead because I can only go a few days without a dead battery. I have not yet tried out the latest S8 series.

Is it necessary to purchase separate steering wheel retaining hardware, or is it included with the head unit? I've heard them both. 2014 Chevy Cruze

Answer: All ATOTO car radios are compatible with factory steering wheel controls in terms of steering wheel control. However, you may need to purchase a wiring harness or CANBUS data interface to keep your car's stock steering wheel control.

Will this suit a Honda accord from 2000?

Answer: universal double din aftermarket car radio, if your car accepts a double din, or if there are suitable double din dash kit and wiring harness (or CANBUS data interface) to complete the installation, then it can fit any car, including yours.

Is there a cable that connects this item to a conventional GMC connector?

Answer:I'm presuming you're talking about a wiring harness for a GMC. That vehicle-specific harness would have to be ordered separately.

Is it possible to use downloaded and installed navigation, either native or third-party, without a phone?

Answer:Yes. You simply need to install one that allows you to download maps to be kept locally / offline. The preloaded GoogleMaps app has this capability, but it's a pain because it's a Google product, and the app will periodically dump (or expire) your downloaded maps, requiring you to connect to the internet to download updated maps that are rarely any different from the previous ones, unless new roads have been added since the last downloads. There are also no live enroute traffic updates when operating offline. Description: Atoto A6 vs S8
