    FAQS :

What kind of saw would this be for a beginner woodworker on a tight budget?

Answer: It's a terrific saw. It has a few security features that I really like. If you're on a tight budget, I'd recommend waiting a few days before purchasing this saw. It's hefty, and it'll set you back a little more than $600 out the door, but it's well worth it. Remember to buy the greatest tools you can find while purchasing tools. You don't want your low-cost tool to break down in the midst of the day.

Is it possible to use a dado blade set with this saw?

Yes, you'll need the DeWalt Part Number DWE7402D1 for the Dado Throat Plate. Stacking dado blades thicker than 13/16" is not recommended by DeWalt (20 mm). Dado blades with a diameter of more than 8" (200 mm) should not be used. Because dado cuts are not through cuts, they must be done without the blade guard assembly. Pull the riving knife/blade guard release lever and pull up on the guard or riving knife to remove the blade guard assembly. The unique dado insert (also available as an accessory) must be utilised when employing the dado.

When closed, what are the dimensions of the unit on the stand? WxHxD? I'd like to know if it will fit in the garage storage cubby.

Answer: When laid flat, it's 27 1/2" broad, 46" long (you may cut 3" off by using the shorter handle length holes), and 25" high with the rail on (21 1/2" without). It works whether you stand it up or lay it down.

Can the axtra 8-outlet power strip be mounted on the table saw?

Answer: Because our tools are meant to work as-is, we do not recommend making any changes to them. If you're referring to hooking it into an 8-port power strip, that's not a good idea. This item should be plugged into a wall socket or connected to an extension cord ( VOLTS, LENGTH and WIRE GAUGE)

Is it able to cut tile?

Answer: Construction experts should utilise this table saw for ripping, crosscutting, mitering, beveling, and non-through cutting operations in wood, plastic, and other soft materials. This product should not be used to cut metal, cement board, or masonry.

At 90 degrees, the maximum cut depth is

2-9/16 IN DEPTH OF CUT AT 90 DEGREES

Is there a blade with 60 teeth that measures 8 1/4"? This blade size appears to be difficult to come by.

Answer: You can obtain a 60 tooth aftermarket blade, but they'll be thinner than the riving knife because they're usually thin kerf blades. To use them, you must first remove the riving knife, which exposes you to the possibility of kickback, which is quite dangerous. Microjig sells kits that allow you to construct your own narrow kerf riving knife, but I haven't been able to find one that fits this saw. The best option is to use a Dewalt 40 tooth blade, which is a good compromise.
