    FAQS :

The hose is it included? Amazing that the specs are silent on this. What is the length of the hose in the packaging, if it is included? I'm grateful.

the specifications do state. Maximum length for the accompanying 25-foot hose is 100 feet. Before asking pointless questions, carefully read the description.

If someone doesn't clean it after using it, what do you suggest they do? mineral liqueurs?

I've been using Acetone and haven't had any problems. MEK is a very abrasive cleaning solvent; running it through this machine is not advised.

    Does this utilise 220 volts?

Answer: You may run it off one side of the 220 volts because it needs two 110 volts to generate 220, so connect your cable to one hot wire and the ground of the 220, which is a 110 volt supply (I will be buying in the US but utilising at home in the Philippines).

Does the paint need to be thinned? I use the rather thick Behr Ultra Premium.

I used a typical exterior paint, and while it initially painted without any issues, stopping caused complications. I even tried putting the hose-mounted cannon inside a 5 gal. bucket, but it was still plugged. I worked on the pistol for longer than I did the painting. I had to buy a new gun to finish the work since it had gotten so awful. I tried to thin the paint, but it didn't work. The cost of the second gun outweighed the money I had hoped to save with this one. I spent a lot of time trying to get the gun function. I wouldn't purchase one of these weapons again. I couldn't understand why a brief break in painting would produce such a problem because it didn't plug as long as I kept painting.

    Can stain blocker be sprayed?

I have used this sprayer with Kilz stain blocker; however, you may need to add some Flood paint thinner if your sprayer does not spray well with the stain blocker that is available off the market. If you don't obtain the results you want, you might also think about trying a different tip.

With this, how do you paint orange peel?

Answer: It worked great for painting very rough stucco, however I would suggest using a much smaller nozzle. The 515 tip that comes with it, in my opinion, puts out far too much paint. I purchased a variety of sized tips and discovered that the 311 produced a fine enough spray that I could spray in a few different directions and angles without worrying that the paint would run. The outcome was very good coverage, including in the hand-textured stucco's crevices and nooks. I was quite happy with the unit's capabilities and ease of use as a sprayer. Cleaning up was even simpler than I had anticipated. I have no regrets about my purchase.

Can solvent primers be used with this sprayer?

Reply: No. This sprayer works with coatings that are non-flammable and may be cleaned with 100% mineral spirits or water.

Does this sprayer have lacquer compatibility?

Use of this sprayer with combustible materials is prohibited.

Can it be used with 220V?

Call the manufacturer for an answer. Can the 120 work in a 220 socket? is a common query. A 220 has four plugs, whereas a 110/120 has just three, so I'm going to assume that since there is more power than is required. Therefore, only three of the prongs will function if you connect a three-prong plug into a four-prong socket. Each of the two power wires of a 220 volt system, as well as the white wire and the grounding wire, each carry 110 volts.
