    FAQS :

What kind of thread is used?

Answer: I'm sorry, but I haven't finished it yet. I've been really ill. I'd go with 100% cotton or a poly/cotton regular thread.

Is this machine equipped with a foot pedal?

    Yes, it is.

    Is this a brand-new machine?

Yes, it is. Completely new. Boxes are provided. Required assembly

Is it possible to get a walking foot for it?

    No, it does not.

How simple is it to assemble this machine?

Assembly instructions should take no more than one hour. First, ensure that you have a drill hammer and a wrench. All of the necessary hardware is kept in the drawer. There are 14 bolts for the legs and two little bolts for the pedal. 2 long brackets for the two legs 2 tiny brackets for the bottom bracing, set of 2. A pair of L brackets for the pedal, 4 pieces for adjusting the legs 4 long screws for attaching legs to table, 9 small screws for attaching drawer to table Begin by placing your table top upside down on a flat, stable surface with enough area to work around the stand. Place your motor on the table, with the belt pulley centred in the opening to prevent the belt from rubbing against the table. The table may have been pre-drilled for the motor depending on your machine. If it has, simply align the motor mount with the table's holes. If your table was not pre-drilled for the motor, just mark the mounting holes with a 3/8′′ drill and drill three mounting holes. Before drilling the mounting holes, make sure your belt pulley is centred on the table. Tighten the motor mount to the table with the large bolts that come with your motor. Step 2: Installing the On/Off Switch Box This step may not be necessary if you have a servo motor! The switch could be integrated into the motor's front. Place the on/off switch box about 10-1/2′′ from the front right of the table and screw the box to the table. Fasten the wire from the switch box to the motor in the manner shown in the photo. Step 3: Assemble the Legs To assemble the legs for the stand, measure each side of the leg from the top to the bottom to be roughly 29-1/4′′ high. (7th from the top) When you are through installing the stand, you will have a table that is approximately 31′′ high. This is the normal height at which we assemble all of our stands. Attach the bottom (smaller) brace to the legs and the cross (wider) brace to the rear of the legs. Step 4: Attaching the Legs to the Table Top Assemble the legs and place them on top of the table as described. The legs are then fastened to the table top, having the legs centred front to back in the stand. Attach the treadle (motor pedal) to the bottom cross bracing, centred over the motor, as indicated in the image below. Connect the treadle rod to the motor's arm. Some stands may or may not include a plastic drawer in which to store extra bobbins, needles, scissors, or equipment. Attach the drawer to the table top by centering it on the longer side opposite the motor and using the provided side mounting rails. Assemble the stand by connecting the two thread stand posts with the coupling, then adding the thread stand arms and attaching the thread stand cone platforms to the arms. Step 7: Install Your Machine in the Stand. Depending on your machine, you may need to use small finishing nails to attach small rubber or felt cushions to the table. The machine's head hinges must also be secured to the stand. Attach the machine's metal head hinges to the back of the machine, wrap the belt around the machine's belt, and tilt the machine back to get the belt around the motor pulley. To correctly adjust the tension of the belt, leave about an inch of space between the belt and itself when pressed in on itself. If the belt is too tight, adjust the motor bracket to increase the motor height; if the belt is too loose, adjust the motor bracket to lower the motor height.

Is it possible to sew numerous layers of leather with this machine, and can it be used for automobile upholstery?

Yes, absolutely. This is the 8700H equipped with a servo motor (servo allows for adjustable speeds). It has a more powerful motor that is specially intended to work with numerous layers of leather. The 8700 model is designed for lighter leather and does not have as powerful a motor as the 8700H.

Which parts of the sewing machine must be assembled?

    1. The oil tank that goes in the table and the machine on it. 2. Drill a bobbin wheel on the table. 3. Thread retainers 4. Attach the servo motor to the rear of the table.
