    FAQS :

Is it possible to use a 64 oz container with the E310?

Answer: I recently purchased the E310 Explorian and inquired about the low-profile 64 oz. blender from Vitamix. Yes, the low-profile 64oz can be used with the Explorian, they said. E310 m

Why is this model so much less expensive than other vitamix models?

Answer: Unlike the other models created in the United States, this one is made in China. Look at the package at Costco where this is sold; it no longer reads made in the USA. The parts come from China and it was "developed and engineered in the United States."

What is the policy on returns? Is it costless? Is there a lot of noise?

Answer: Amazon has the best customer service in the world. Yes, it's a little noisy, but not nearly as loud as our prior blender. The fan at higher RPM is to blame for a lot of the noise.

Does the vitamix come with a mini-tamper and a cookbook?

Yes, those goods are included in the package.

Is it possible to grind rice and lentils to make idli batter?

Answer: A Vitamix can combine soaked rice and lentils, but I'm not sure how Idli/dosa batter will turn out because it's normally pulverised rather than mixed.

Is it capable of handling frozen fruits? Is it difficult to clean?

Answer: I'm quite good with frozen foods. I usually begin slowly and gradually increase my speed until I reach my maximum speed. It's simple to clean up. The interior is light and airy, with no tight corners to make cleaning easier.

What is the wattage of A2300?

It has a 2.2 peak horsepower and 1500 watts of electricity. The different Ascent models have different included features, with the A2300 being the most basic, but they all share the same motor, as stated in the other comment.

What is the significance of the "California's Proposition 65" warning on this model? I haven't seen that in any other models.

The container is constructed of plastic, according to the answer.

What is the point of this unit's claimed wireless connectivity? Isn't it absurd? The 64 oz container is missing from the classic version.

Answer: The wireless connectivity is more of a gimmick than anything else; the concept is that you can walk away while blending anything, but the blend is so quick that it's unnecessary; practically everything takes less than a minute. Soups that take more than 5 minutes would be an advantage, but I haven't tried them because the app has terrible ratings. The Ascent series is more silent than the Explorian series, and it comes with a ten-year warranty. The units that come with a 64oz container have 2.2 horsepower, while the 48oz container units have 2 horsepower. Depending on personal desire, both old and modern devices have several sized containers that can be utilised on them. The Ascent series is supposed to be able to detect different size containers (i.e. 64oz, 48oz, 20oz, 8oz) and adjust the power accordingly. If you're searching for small batches, the Ascent series is the only model with an 8oz cup option, as well as a more streamlined design for the 20oz personal travel cup.

The height of unit with container is mentioned as 20" whereas Vitamix website says 17", what is the height?

    Answer: Measures 11" l x 8" w x 17" h.
