    Is it possible to use the speaker while it is charging?

    Answer: I don't know because I only acquired it a week ago. Last week, I took it to a party with it fully charged and utilised it for almost 5 hours. It had 60 percent battery left after that.

    Answer: I called today, August 16, 2018, and they suggested that I try a new charging wire, which I did, and it worked. A fresh replacement cable is on its way to me. This solved my problem with my phone not charging at all.

    Is it loud enough on a boat to be heard?

    Answer: If you dock your boat on a sandbar and put it on the dash, you can hear it from far away. That's how we use ours, plus it saves our boat battery. You can still hear it if you're cruising at a low pace, but it's not as enjoyable, and at higher speeds, the engine and wind noise will block it out. I hope this helps.

    Can I use this speaker to answer my phone?

    Answer: I agree with JVF...one of the reasons I chose this model is because it does not. My current speaker does this, and it irritates me to no end since every time a call comes in, it shuts the music off (then I fumble to turn off the BT on my phone so I can answer the call, without everyone within 100ft ease dropping).     Can you take calls from these speakers and converse with them?

    No, this speaker does not come with a microphone. The JBL flip 4 had this feature, but the 5 does not.
